Halley's Comet

Everyone looked for it on camping trips when it was passing through in 1986, but it wasn't really anything more than a fuzzy blob unless you had a really good telescope. More of an excuse to get drunk in the great outdoors, and for producing comet-themed baseballs caps and other memorabilia.
