Accident-prone Gil Masters (Jeremy Bulloch) cannot hold down a job because he continually gets caught in compromising situations with female colleagues.
His gorgeous, generously breasted fiancée Annette (Jill Damas) refuses to marry him unless he proves he can “keep it up for a week” – that is, keep a job for a week.
So off he goes to work for Mr Grimwood (Neil Hallett) at his cleaning company (“Here to Service You”), where he has all manner of misadventures with the invariably horny female clientèle.
He meets a libidinous female shrink (Sue Longhurst), a ditzy housewife in a bathtub with her toe stuck in the tap, three nubile sisters who he “babysits” (and who show him that they are far too mature to need a babysitter), and even gets involved in an interracial three-way with a black nurse and white female doctor in a medical office.
The ending involves an incredibly hypocritical double-standard plot twist in which Annette is in danger of being seduced into bed by Mr Grimwood himself, and Gil has to rush to the rescue.
Valerie Leon appears in a nice (fully-clothed) cameo as a lesbian with designs on Annette.
Jeremy Bulloch went on to play Boba Fett in the Star Wars sequel The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
