Before Reservoir Dogs(1992) star Harvey Keitel became cool he appeared in this tepid thriller as Rivas, a ruthless terrorist who crosses paths with jet-set New York fashion model Elizabeth Carlson (Nastassja Kinski) when she’s not romancing violinist Daniel Jelline (Rudolf Nureyev).
Elizabeth has travelled to the big city to become a concert pianist.
Supposedly sexy and arty, Exposed is actually neither and is probably, in fact, a film which Keitel, Kinski and director James Toback would probably rather forget.
Toback went on to better things with The Pick-Up Artist and Two Girls and a Guy.
