When an atomic war on Mars destroys the planet’s women, it’s up to icy Martian Princess Marcuzan (former Playboy Playmate Marilyn Hanold) and her right-hand man Dr Nadir (Lou Cutell, who later played “The Assman” Dr Cooperman on Seinfeld), to travel to earth and kidnap fertile women for new breeding stock.
Landing in Puerto Rico, they shoot down the NASA space shuttle Mayflower 2 manned by android Colonel Frank Saunders (Robert Reilly). With his electronic brain damaged, “Frank” terrorises the island while the Martians raid beaches and pool parties for nubile dancing bikini girls.
Meanwhile, NASA scientist Dr Adam Steele (James Karen) and his assistant Karen Grant (Nancy Marshall) head to San Juan to rescue and repair their android.
Great character actor, Bruce Glover (Diamonds Are Forever), has two of his earliest screen roles playing both one of the Martians and their pet “space monster” Mull (wearing a hilarious, fanged and shaggy costume).
Over half of this ultra-low-budget black & white movie utilises stock footage, ranging from Korean War battles to old NASA footage.
