This made-for-television romantic comedy revolves around Michael Green (Richard Long), the wealthy and jaded bachelor publisher of a male-oriented magazine who has everything he could possibly want, except happiness.
This changes rather dramatically when, on his 40th birthday, Harold (Tom Bosley) and the guys at the magazine present him with an unusual “gift” – a beautiful girl who turns his life upside down (Karen Valentine).
Sandy is a small-town beauty with wide eyes, great ambitions, and empty pockets. She also never stops talking.
For cliched comedy, this film is quite delightful with some very funny moments if you can forget the predictability of it all.
Louise Sorel is delightful as Green’s secretary, Sylvia.
