Wanderer Sam Hell (professional wrestler “Rowdy” Roddy Piper) is captured by the female-dominated government, ten years after the ten-day World War III, which rendered most of the human race sterile.
The ladies realise he is one of the few remaining fertile men in the world but before he can start breeding a new race, he is fitted with an explosive chastity device and made to go to Frogtown – accompanied by Medtech scientist Spangle (Sandahl Bergman) and sexy soldier Sentinella (Cec Verrell) – to rescue the fertile women who have been imprisoned there by Commander Toady (Brian Frank) and his tribe of mutant frogs.
With the help of insiders reptilian Arabella (Kristi Somers) – the headlining entertainer at Leroy’s – and human Uranium prospector Looney Tunes (Rory Calhoun), Hell and Spangle infiltrate Frogtown.
But Toady’s second-in-command, Bull (Nicholas Worth) snatches Spangle and prepares her to perform the “Dance of the Three Snakes” that few of Toady’s harem have survived.
This is almost the ultimate in dumb movie plotlines and the directors (it took two of them!) never allow anything as trivial as common sense to get in the way of the fun, with most of the Carry On-style jokes focusing on Piper’s “below the belt” equipment.
It’s bad enough to be beyond criticism – and how can you hate a movie which includes such immortal lines as “Eat lead, froggies!”
