Filmed in and around Monroe and Charlotte, North Carolina, this Preacherman Corporation film tells the story of the Widow Holcomb (Tonia Bryan) and her three beautiful daughters – Mary Ann, Vicky and Rosalie – who are involved in moonshining in Barefoot County and the efforts of Sheriff Bull Tatum (Charles Elledge) to eliminate the illegal whisky operations in his territory.
Tatum is determined to catch the moonshiners but doesn’t know the culprit’s identity.
One of Widow Holcomb’s daughters, Mary Ann (Sherry Robinson) – dressed as a man – is hauling the whisky and has the sheriff completely confused.
Larry Lambeth co-stars as the can’t-do-anything-right deputy who tends to hinder more than he helps – albeit unintentionally – the efforts of Sheriff Tatum.
The plot thickens when the governor sends “pesky” undercover agent Jeff Wilson (Don Jones) into Barefoot County to stop the illegal moonshine traffic, and he falls in love with Mary Ann.
