    4D Man (1959)

Research scientist Scott Nelson (Robert Lansing) discovers the secret of passing through solid matter when he accidentally opens a fourth dimension thanks to an electric motor stirring up his brainwaves.

Entering a sordid life of crime due to his power, he must keep replenishing his life force in a vampiric fashion by passing through the bodies of others or else suffer from premature ageing.

Passable special effects make this novel effort from The Blob (1958) team reasonably engaging despite some overwrought acting and plot inconsistencies. A romantic triangle sub-plot between Nelson, his fiancee Linda (Lee ‘Catwoman’ Meriwether) and his brilliant but irresponsible scientist brother, Tony (James Congdon) is yawn-worthy.

Released in some markets as The Evil Force.
