Body Stealers, The (1969)

A bunch of NATO paratroopers disappear in mid-air during a jump from an army plane. Two investigators, Bob Megan (Patrick Allen) and Jim Radford (Sean Connery’s brother, Neil Connery), try to unravel how this happened.

What they uncover is an alien plot to steal the bodies of earthlings by snatching them out of the air.

Despite some notable names in the cast, this little known Tigon production is a lacklustre and slow-moving affair, but it’s watchable if you have a fondness for 1960s British science fiction.

The model used for the alien spaceship is the same one from Daleks’ Invasion Earth 2150 AD (1966).
