    Motorpsycho! (1965)

Russ Meyer made Motorpsycho! just prior to his better-known Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and the film explores similar themes of sex and violence,

Three psychopath motorcyclists – led by sadistic Vietnam veteran Brahmin (Stephen Oliver) – find a refuge from the world on their motorbikes and in cruelty.

When Brahmin and his sidekicks Dante (Joseph Cellini) and Slick (Thomas Scott) rape and beat the wife of veterinarian Cory Maddox (Alex Rocco), he takes exception and pursues them, teaming up with a Cajun woman called Ruby Bonner (Haji) whose husband Harry (Coleman Francis) the bikers killed.

While it’s not a classic Meyer offering and the budget is evidently non-existent, Motorpsycho! is certainly a superior 60’s exploitation effort. And the twangy guitar surf-style soundtrack is superb.
