    What Every Woman Wants (1962)

Jean Goodwin (Hy Hazell) and her newly-married daughter Sue (Elizabeth Shepherd) are both unsatisfied with their marriages in this endearing domestic sex comedy from the Danziger Brothers.

Jean’s husband of 25 years, Philip (William Fox) is a marriage guidance councillor who talks too much, is totally predictable and whose answer to every crisis is a nice cup of tea.

When middle-aged playboy George Barker (Guy Middleton) chases Jean, she innocently encourages him.

Meanwhile Sue’s husband, Tom (Dennis Lotis) – a young reporter with the Sunday Family – doesn’t pay enough attention to her.

Derek Chadwick (Andrew Faulds) is a reporter for the rival Sunday Scandal, who shamelessly lies and manipulates so he can embellish the story of Jean and George’s “affair”.
