Slaughter’s Big Rip-Off (1973)

Black Vietnam vet/urban warrior Slaughter (Jim Brown) returns to avenge the murder of his mother and father by gangsters, led this time around by Ed McMahon.

Jim Brown goes in for a lot of violent confrontations but is really too good for this blaxploitation fix – as is In like Flint (1967) director Gordon Douglas.

A hint of humour would have helped.
