    Bachelor Party (1985)

    Share
Facebook Twitter Pinterest WhatsApp Reddit Email

Patchy comedy about a wild party for a soon-to-be-married young man played with moderate charm by Tom Hanks.

    bachelorparty2

Aside from Hanks’ likeable presence, the film features an array of sleazy characters who instigate various vulgar sex escapades laced with the usual assortment of scatological jokes.

Tawny Kitaen is his future bride, and don’t miss the sight of the head of William Tepper on the naked body of Monique Gabrielle.

There’s a bit of high-minded philosophising amid the degenerate shenanigans: will the recipient of this bash remain pure and faithful to his bride?

Yes, one of the great presenters. R.I.P.

For fans of the radio series Round The Horne (1965 - 1968) - starring the inimitable Kenneth Williams - there are several full episodes on Spotify. Some of the humour is still pretty close to the edge, even by modern standards. Bona!
