In the 1300s, as the Black Death ravages Europe, Lucifer makes a deal with the sinister Father Thomas Seaton (William Beckwith, offering eternal life to all the monks in the monastery if they pledge their souls to him.
Flash forward to 1980s New York City, where evil lurks within a monastery where the monks seek virgins to sacrifice to Satan.
The plot is completely nonsensical and laughably incoherent, the acting is dire, and the makeup effects are tacky – but there’s a lot of gratuitous nudity, and it’s never boring. Oh, and there’s an undercover nun (Mavis Harris).
