    I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle (1990)

Facebook Twitter Pinterest WhatsApp Reddit Email

Brummie motorbike courier Nick “Noddy” Oddie (Neil Morrisey) purchases a motorcycle (a Norton Commando) that turns out to be possessed by the spirit of an evil occultist which runs on blood instead of petrol. Naturally, the vampiric motorcycle goes on a bloody rampage.

Michael Elphick co-stars as the pesky garlic-breathed Inspector Cleaver, with Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) as a helpful and heroic priest.

Andrew Powell is vicious biker gang leader Roach, George Rossi is the brutish Chopper, and Daniel Peacock is the crude Buzzer.

Burt Kwouk has a brief cameo as Fu King, the owner of a Chinese Takeaway.

Director Dirk Campbell milks plenty of campy laughs from the gloriously ridiculous premise and delivers a healthy helping of outrageous gore. Unfortunately, the low budget shows in every scene.

Still, it’s not every day you see a talking turd in a toilet bowl (voiced by Danny Peacock).
