Medfield College chemistry student Dexter Reilly (Kurt Russell) accidentally invents a spray that renders people and objects invisible.
The financially-strapped college intends to enter the liquid in a competition – the Forsythe Science Award – which has a cash prize of $50,000. But gangster kingpin AJ Arno (Cesar Romero) steals it and uses it to stage a bank robbery with his gang.
Of course, Dexter and his college buddies stymie their escape in time to present the liquid and win the award and the cash, thereby saving the college from foreclosure.
This was the second of the Disney ‘Dexter Reilly’ trilogy starring Kurt Russell. The other films were The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (1969) and The Strongest Man in the World (1975).
