This spy spoof was a sequel to Richard Johnson’s first update of the Bulldog Drummond adventures, Deadlier than the Male (1966).
This risible sequel contains such an absurd and flimsy plot that one wonders how it reached the screen.
The plot, such as it is, involves the effort to thwart the sabotaging of Britain’s first supersonic jet, the SST1.
British agent Bulldog Drummond (Johnson) faces a bevvy of beautiful girl robots controlled by his arch-enemy Carl Peterson (James Villiers), who intends to destroy the SST1 on a test flight using the power of radio waves.
Robert Morley wanders in for a cameo as a character called Miss Mary – an undercover agent who runs cookery classes as a front.
Fortunately, the girls – Daliah Lavi, Beba Loncar, Adrienne Posta, Yutte Stensgaard, Virginia North, Vanessa Howard, Sydne Rome and (an uncredited) Joanna Lumley and Shakira Caine – are almost enough to take your mind off the absurd plot.
