Research workers Adam (Kirk Douglas) and Alex (Farrah Fawcett) live an idyllic Adam and Eve existence in a synthetic food-making factory on Titan, Saturn’s largest moon.
Then along comes reptilian Captain Benson (Harvey Keitel, dubbed over by a British actor), a psychopath on the run from Earth, and his equally disturbed robot, Hector.
Saturn 3 was directed for two weeks by Star Wars/Supermanproduction designer John Barry before Stanley Donen took over, but no amount of futuristic hardware or fantastic sets could improve the mass of contrivance and plot confusion in this ridiculous space shocker.
