This Japanese sci-fi Saturday matinée treat with an international cast features intrepid reporters Ken Abe (Sonny Chiba) and Jenny Gleason (Peggy Neal), who stumble across a strange-looking swimming creature while scuba diving to cover a navy test of guided torpedoes.
They investigate further and discover there is a race of fish-men living under the sea.
The fish-men capture the pair and keep them prisoner in their James Bond-esque underwater city, run by mad scientist Dr Moore (Erik Neilson) who has perfected the art of turning people into mind-controlled fish-men – or ‘water cyborgs,’ as the mad doc calls them.
Entertaining silliness that kids and bad movie buffs are sure to enjoy.
