Rod, Banjo and Jeeter are a trio of brutal Satan’s Angels who commit bank hold-ups and other crimes strictly for kicks.
Teen singing star (and host and music director of Where The Action Is), Steve Alaimo, made his acting debut as Rod Tillman, a daring stockcar driver who infiltrates the motorcycle gang for the police.
Also making his acting debut was ex-light-heavyweight boxing champion Willie Pastrano who played the SS helmet wearing, sawn-off shotgun-toting Banjo.
Serous actors John Vella and Bobbie Byers played the gang leader, Jeeter, and his girl, Linda. Bob Freund, the entertainment editor of The Fort Lauderdale News, somehow also showed up in a small role as a detective.
Directed, written and produced by Bill Grefe and filmed in and around Miami, Florida. this basic drive-in picture was shot in 15 days, using just 30,000 feet of film. To the bemusement of serious filmmakers, the movie grossed nearly half a million dollars in its first week of screening.
