Three youngsters steal a car for a joyride and encounter a couple out on a date. They drive the couple into a ditch, pull the boy out of the car and beat him up while their leader attacks the helpless girl.
A passing workman saves the girl and frightens the hoods who, in their mad dash to get away, hit a woman and kill her.
When it comes time for the youngsters to identify the gang leader at a police lineup, though, they are stopped from making a positive identification by their parents because of threats made by the hoodlums.
The climax takes place at a mountain cabin where the police set an age-old trap and the young criminals are brought to justice.
