This six-piece band represented the United Kingdom in the 1978 Eurovision Song Contest at the Palais de Congrès in Paris, with the song The Bad Old Days.
Originally called Mother’s Pride, several members had made previous attempts to represent the United Kingdom in the Contest.
Co-Co finished in 11th place – which at the time was the worst showing ever for a UK entry – and the group split up shortly after their Eurovision humiliation, only releasing one album.
Bandmember Cheryl Baker would return just three years later to win Eurovision with her new group, Bucks Fizz.
