The Liverpool Five (four of them were actually from Fulham!) left the UK and went travelling throughout Europe. They somehow ended up playing at the Tokyo Olympics before moving to the US and signing a major label deal.
In 1966 their recording of Chip Taylor’s Any Way That You Want Me marked their only appearance on the national chart, spending one week on the Billboard Hot 100 at #98.
Before finally disbanding, they recorded one last single for RCA under the name Common Market.
