    wayfinders_1966

Wayfinders were approved by the Scout Association and featured patterns on the soles, including animal tracks (to help you recognise the tracks of the potter, fox, badger and other animals) which came with a secret compass hidden in the heel, and a “Moonshot” sole which resembled the surface of the moon (so recently stepped on by Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong) – with the lunar Landing Module on the sole of the heel – and came with a secret magnet in the heel of each shoe.
