This Los Angeles-produced puppet series revolved around the adventures of Cyclone Malone (voiced by Canadian singer Ross Jones), the sheriff of Wishbone Hollow.
Other residents of Wishbone Hollow included Cyclone’s teacher girlfriend, Cozy Dumond (voiced by Dorothy Novis); his ranchhand Chief One Lone Feather; Major Ichabod Richmond from Yazoo Junction; and Violet Lavender, a notorious femme fatale who lived in a hilltop mansion called Aldrich Manor House.
Cyclone was also assisted by his eloquent talking horse, Cucamonga, and a talking half-crow/half-buzzard called Burgess Cruzzard, who had a New York accent.
The show was created and written by Ann Davis and Dorothy Novis at KNBH (KNBC).
The marionettes were created and operated by Bob Kelly.
