Broadcast from New York, the show aired live on Wednesday nights and was kinescoped for West Coast audiences. It was one of the few CBS shows of the 1950s broadcast in colour.

The show – originally an hour-long until it was reduced to 30 minutes beginning on 26 March 1958 – was sponsored by Oldsmobile. Page went on to host 24 episodes of another show for Oldsmobile (The Patti Page Oldsmobile Show) during the 1958–1959 season.
