Galen Drake, the great storyteller of radio, moved to television as the host of this ABC children’s variety series. The regular singers Stuart Foster and Rita Ellis provided musical interludes.

Drake also conducted interviews with such guests as the famous FBI G-Man Melvin Purvis, bandleader Paul Whiteman, puppeteer Bil Baird (the man responsible for Life with Snarky Parker and The Whistling Wizard), and a young girl who had run away from home because she was in love with Elvis Presley.
