Magician/comedian David Nixon starred in this fortnightly series – billed as “a thirty-minute mixture of mystery and music” – accompanied by illusionist and mind-reader Al Koran.

The show – in which Nixon introduced other illusionists, magicians, comedians and variety acts including Tommy Cooper, James Randi, Boyer and Ravel, Reg Varney, Paula Baird, Harry Corbett and Sooty, Winifred Atwell, The Great Marlo and Eamonn Andrews – was televised from the BBC TV studios in Edinburgh and Birmingham.
