Based on the Granada quiz show Criss Cross Quiz and airing on Wednesdays at 5pm, this children’s version was produced the same year the adult version started, although the children played for points (to swap for prizes) instead of money.

50 points won you a pair of rollerskates, 100 a tool kit, 150 a record player, 200 a cine camera, and 250 a portable typewriter.

Contestants were limited to children living within a ten-mile radius of the Granada studios in Manchester.

Presenters on the children’s version included Jeremy Hawk, Chris Kelly, Bob Holness, Elaine Grand, Mike Sarne, Chris Howland, Gordon Luck, Peter Wheeler, Bill Grundy, Danny Blanchflower and Barbara Kelly.

The final episode aired on Thursday 29 June 1967.
