This CBS crime anthology series featured stories taken from the files of various law-enforcement agencies, including policemen, sheriffs, prison guards, park rangers and the military police.
The sets were simple and the productions often felt stage-bound, but the cast included many future stars, including Anthony Perkins, Jack Klugman, Leslie Nielsen, Charles Bronson, Jack Warden, Lee Van Cleef, James Gregory, Jason Robards, Carolyn Jones, Jean Carson, Claude Akins, and Hugh Sanders.
