This period adaptation focussed on the lives of the Woolcot family of seven children living outside Sydney (Australia) in a house nicknamed “Misrule” in the 1890s and their “adventures” of little consequence.
BBC children’s department producer Shaun Sutton played several small parts in the series.
An Australian company made a colour television series based on the books Seven Little Australians and The Family at Misrule by Ethel S. Turner in the mid-70s.
