This quiz panel game show from ATV debuted on Tuesday 17 September 1957 and starred David Jacobs as the Chairman and master of ceremonies.

The original regular panel comprised John Skeaping (a professor of sculpture at the Royal College of Art who had been a jockey and lived for two years in a jungle in Mexico); Jacqueline Curtis; Roberta Leigh; and actor Bill Owen.

Three contestants sat opposite the panel, all claiming to be the same person, while the panel proceeded to interrogate them. Only one of the contestants was obliged to tell the truth and reply honestly to all questions, while the other two did all they could to mislead the panel.

After a certain elapsed time, chairman David Jacobs would stop the questions and ask each member of the panel to reveal who they thought was the real person.

Each trio of contestants was allotted £100 but each time a panellist guessed the identity correctly, £25 was subtracted from this sum. If each of the four panellists guessed correctly, the contestants received nothing.
