This short-lived CBS dramatic anthology series (a summer replacement for Person to Person) featured stories about people confronting real problems.
Episodes included ‘The World Out There‘ with Mary Perry, Anthony Perkins and Joseph Perkins in a touching and fragile story (by Ray Bradbury) about an illiterate elderly country woman’s efforts to learn how to read and write; ‘Rose’s Boy‘ with Judith Evelyn in a one-character play in which a woman attempts to work up the courage to tell a young boy about his mother’s death in a serious accident; ‘The Calliope Tree‘ with Henry Hull and Van Dyke Parks in a story about an ex-circus clown and his efforts to relive his past through the admiration of a young boy whose parents are divorced; and ‘Domestic Dilemma‘ with Geraldine Page and Jason Robards Jr. in a story about how an alcoholic woman affects her family.
The series ran from 8 July to 26 August 1955.
