Debuting in August 1953, CBS’s answer to Youth Wants to Know had a quartet of students from various high schools and junior colleges asking a guest CBS correspondent (such as Charles Collingwood and Douglas Edwards) about the top news stories of the week.
The show began on prime time on 18 August 1953 with its co-producer Marc Cramer as host and moderator, but by the time it moved to Sunday afternoons a month later, Alan Jackson had replaced Cramer.
Jim McKay succeeded Jackson in April 1954. The final episode aired in March 1955.
The series was sponsored by the Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa).
