    1 9 6 2 – 1 9 6 4 (USA)
    62 x 60 minute episodes

The Eleventh Hour featured Jack Ging as Dr Paul Graham, a passionate and caring young psychologist, working under the ægis of elder psychiatrists – first played by Wendell Corey and later Ralph Bellamy.

While the first season often focused on Dr Theodore Bassett (Corey) and court cases (he was also an advisor to the state board of corrections), the second season was more concerned with private practice.

Some of the most notable writers and actors in Hollywood contributed to this show and scripts were thoughtful and intense, often sharing the same basic theme of wise teacher and young intern used in Dr Kildare.

Given the focus on guest characters, it felt more like an anthology series than episodic drama.
