This anthology format from Rediffusion (produced by Stella Richman) provided well-known writers and new talent alike the opportunity to contribute new stand-alone thirty-minute dramas for ITV.
The debut story, ‘Shelter’ was written by Alun Owen. Later presentations included ‘Myself, I’ve Got Nothing Against South Ken’ by Julian Bond, ‘Between Men’ by Doris Lessing, ‘Which of These Two Ladies Is He Married To?’ by Edna O’Brien and ‘Venus Rising’ and ‘The 45th Unmarried Mother’, both by Fay Weldon.
