    Then Came Bronson

    27 x 60 minute episodes

When his friend commits suicide, disillusioned reporter Jim Bronson (Michael Parks) quits his job, hops on his deceased friend’s red Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle and goes roaring off around the country, squinting through his shades as he searches for The Meaning Of Life™.

Bronson is big on meaningful pauses but not terribly strong on conversation. A typical chat went like this:

    Man: “Where you from?”
    Bronson: “Northwest.”
    Man: “Where you headed?”
    Bronson: “Southeast.”
    Man: “Why this road?”
Bronson: “There’s an enduro next Sunday at Lake Powell.”
    Man: “Enduro?”
    Bronson: “Motorcycle race.”
Man: “You gonna be in the race?”
    Bronson: “Uh-huh.”

The NBC series was filmed entirely on location across the US.
