Wrangler was the 1960 summer replacement for The Ford Show Starring Tennessee Ernie Ford on NBC.
Pitcairn, the Wrangler (Jason Evers), was a two-fisted adventurer who was fast with his guns and travelled about the Old West working sometimes as a ranch hand, sometimes as a gunfighter, and sometimes as a good samaritan.
This short-lived summer series (six episodes in August and September 1960, recorded on videotape) was filled with rustlers, horse thieves, hostile Indians, and all the other low-brow characters so prevalent in superficial Western shoot-em-ups.
