Alan, Jake and Paul of glam-pop band Arrows starred in their own Tuesday afternoon series, produced by Muriel Young for Granada Television in an attempt to launch them into the same superstar orbit as her previous proteges, The Bay City Rollers – for whom she produced Shang A Lang.

As well as singing their own songs, the band introduced special guests including Peter Noone (formerly of Herman’s Hermits), Bilbo Baggins, Slade, Dana, Hello, Flintlock, Showaddywaddy, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Smokie, Lynsey De Paul, Alvin Stardust, Slik, Lieutenant Pigeon, Buster, Marmalade, The Glitter Band, Pilot, T.Rex, Jonathan King, and The Bay City Rollers.

New and up and coming bands were also featured.

A dance troupe called ‘Him and Us’ (later renamed ‘Him and Us Plus One’) also appeared each week.
