American International Television produced this in-concert series, hosted by British super fashion model Twiggy and featuring popular musical groups and artists – mostly British.
Guests on the show included Cliff Richard, The Hollies, Rod Stewart, The Kinks, The Sweet, The Rubettes, Marmalade, Slade, The Bay City Rollers, Pilot, Hello, Kenny, Sailor, Alvin Stardust, Mud, David Essex, Kursaal Flyers, Slik, Marianne Faithfull, Showaddywaddy, The New Seekers, The Glitter Band (as “The G Band”), Guys ‘n’ Dolls, Melanie, Georgie Fame, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Chris Spedding, Golden Earring, Roy Wood, Elkie Brooks, Osibisa, Bilbo Baggins, Electric Light Orchestra, The Real Thing, Be Bop Deluxe, Gary Glitter, Peter Noone, Leo Sayer, Andy Williams, Bonnie Tyler, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Tina Charles, Sutherland Brothers and Quiver, Little River Band, Billy J Kramer, Ace, Clodagh Rogers, The Drifters, R & J Stone and String Driven Thing.
The series was produced by Mike Mansfield, and the music performances were taken from his 1975-1976 British series Supersonic and recut with content featuring Twiggy.
Twiggy left the series at the end of 1978, and AITV restructured the show with Britt Ekland now introducing standard music videos.
