When 17-year-old John Corby’s (Simon Fisher-Turner) policeman father disappears, he and his friend Susan (Jan Francis) trek the length and breadth of Britain, becoming ever further embroiled in espionage.
Amid jet boat action and shadowy hitmen, the chase takes them as far afield as Devon, Yorkshire, Cumberland and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The title said it all.
The BBC series aired between 25 September and 18 December 1972 on Mondays.
