Pint-sized Ronnie (Ronnie Corbett) becomes a publican when his screen wife Laura (Rosemary Leach) inherits a pub called “The Prince of Denmark.”
The only person who knows anything about running a pub, though, is Steve, the boy who helps out behind the bar (David Warwick).
Ronnie spends his time fruitlessly trying to prove how important he is.
This BBC1 series – which premiered on 10 April 1974 – was a sequel to the successful Corbett comedies, No, That’s Me Over Here! (1967 – 1970) and Now Look Here . . . (1973). It was written by top comedy team, Barry Cryer and Graham Chapman.
