This barnstorming CBS series told the story of two young daredevil charter pilots and their exciting, often hazardous, work. The pair, Cass Garrett (Christopher Stone) and Stan Lewis (Todd Susman), worked for Spencer Parish (Gene Evans) as part of Spencer Aviation, a California-based organisation that undertook hazardous assignments.
Cass and Stan would fly any assignment in any aircraft – bi-plane, bomber or helicopter. Mickey “Wig” Wiggins (Britt Leach) was their mechanic. Linda Dann (Margie Impert) was Spencer’s secretary.
It was high-paced entertainment laced with humour and thrilling aerial photography of stunt flying (by Joe Hughes) and wing-walking (by Steven Trevor).
