This undemanding game show asked two contestants to solve a series of computer-generated visual puzzles representing well-known phrases or sayings.
Wrong guesses were generously rejected by host Roy Walker with his own trademark quips like “It’s good, but it’s not right” until Walker was succeeded by new host Nick Weir in January 2000.
Cash and travel prizes were awarded to successful contestants.
“See what you say and say what you see” became the Catchphrase catchphrase.
