This Dukes of Hazzard spin-off found deputy Enos Strate (Sonny Shroyer) joining a special metro squad of the LAPD and teaming up with a streetwise black cop named Turk (Samuel E. Wright).
In his first three days, Enos managed to demolish a police car, ruin a vice raid and arrest an undercover officer. But he also managed to meet lots of purty li’l thangs.
It was a short stay. The CBS series premiered on 5 November 1980 but lasted just one season, and Enos returned to Hazzard County the following year.
