24-year-old Debbie Wilkinson (Sally Watts) and 34-year-old divorcee Veronica Haslett (Brigit Forsyth) quit their jobs and decided to search for glamour, excitement and adventure as promotional girls at a Lancashire modelling agency called Glamgirls Ltd.
They soon found that demonstrating non-stick pans at the Halifax Trade Fair wasn’t as glamorous a life as they’d hoped.
Ernest Garstang (Duggie Brown) was the founder and proprietor. Brian Frodsham (Tom Price, pictured) was his personal assistant and general dogsbody.
The Granada Television production aired on Thursday evenings at 7.30 pm.
