    She-Ra: Princess of Power

    93 x 30 minute episodes

She-Ra, who went by the more formal name of Princess Adora, was the kidnapped daughter of Queen Marlena and King Randor of Eternia (characters from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe) and the golden-haired sister of He-Man.

Both siblings were created by Mattel and Filmation at the same time the plastic was being poured for toy versions of the characters.

Princess Adora raised her magic sword and became She-Ra, the most powerful woman in the universe, to aid her friends in defeating the Evil Horde so their planet Etheria could be free.

This kind of Saturday morning commerce has been spoofed wonderfully on The Simpsons with such brilliance as Action-Figure Man and The Mars Bar and Mattel Quick Energy Chocobot Hour.
