A Federal Broadcasting Commission agent named William “Just Call Me Bill” Elliott was constantly on his trail, looking to shut down his illegal transmisisons.
Rick was eventually replaced by Los Angeles DJ Frazer “The Fraze” Smith, replete with skinny ties, Devo shades and New Romantic suits.
Also appearing were Joe Simon (broadcasting from his car) and Russ Parr. The show lasted a year (by the skin of its teeth)
The series was shown in the UK on Channel 4 (edited down to 30-minute segments).
