Gabrielle de Faujas (Marianne Borgo), the head of a worldwide charity organisation that assists the needy of all races and nations, flees to England after an attempt on her life in Paris. Hitman Constant Delangre (Neville Jason) follows her.
The action centres on the same anti-terrorist squad – under the command of Chief Superintendent Franks (Terrence Hardiman) – that featured in the previous year’s serial Blood Money.
With Captain Aubrey Percival (Michael Denison) from SIS throwing around his political muscle to virtually take over the whole affair, Franks comes under pressure from Special Branch who take over the protection of Gabrielle, who has sought sanctuary with her friend Agatha Kindrick (Mary Wimbush) in a remote Scottish village.
Frank’s men track the hitman down to a caravan – but he murders two people and slips their net.
The assassin is eventually shot dead by a sniper before Special Branch arrive with evidence that Gabrielle is actually a communist agent.
The title Skorpion refers to the Czech automatic pistol favoured by terrorists.
