This six-episode prime-time soap opera from CBS related intriguing incidents in the lives of the people of Angel Falls, a (fictional) small town in Montana.
The saga began when Rae Dawn Snow (Chelsea Field) – divorced and the mother of 16-year-old Sonny (Jeremy London) – returned to her childhood home after her father (the lamented Sud Snow) passed away in order to take over his business, the Red Eye Pool Hall.
While Rae rekindled an old romance with her high school sweetheart, Eli Harrison (Brian Kerwin), Sonny – an all-state high school basketball player from Idaho – became romantically involved with Molly (Cassidy Rae), Eliβs oldest daughter.
Eli was married to Genna (Kim Cattrall) – who had grown tired of her marriage and had become attracted to Toby Riopelle (Robert Rusler), the foreman of the Harrisonβs ranch –Β and also had a younger daughter, Sophie (Ashlee Lauren).
Other residents of the town were kindly Angel Falls High School basketball coach Luke Larson (James Brolin), his highly-strung wife Hadley (Peggy Lipton), their son Robbie (Jimmy Baker) and Lukeβs mother, Irene (Jean Simmons); Brandi (Marley Shelton) and Rowena Dare (Shannon Wilcox), and Edie Wren Cox (Shirley Knight).
